Congratulations on the victory of sanity!
Congratulations on the victory of democracy!
Congratulations on the victory of humanity!
Congratulations on the victory of the first female Vice-President of Color!

I was following the events a bit sporadically, closing my eyes from time to time and then quietly hoping that we humans would prove that democracy is the best way to live together respectfully. And wow, it worked!  But no, no, I do not want to write more today.

Some events lose their magic if you look for too many words to grasp them.

Only this: I hope, you had a nice time of celebration after this election drama, which really seemed like an ancient tragedy. But in the end, sanity finally came „ex machina“ and hopefully gave you a sigh of relief. Let me know, how you are doing: whether you are still stuck in the memories of your journey or catching up on the sleep of the election marathon.

Here in Germany it has become very quiet on the streets of Lockdown – well, besides a few confused right-wing souls who gather to aggressively deny Corona, while the police somehow sleepily stands around and watches. I’m hanging on Zoom all day long (only my mind – my body is hanging out somewhere between take-away-boxes), watching people trying to recreate their missed opportunities digitally…
